A student body of the Department of Earth Sciences, IIT Roorkee, Hamrock Society is the cornerstone of all extra and co-curricular activities of the Department. Since its inception in 1966 the Society is also the focal point of faculty-student-alumni interactions. Hamrock society endeavours to bring forward the innovation and creativity in every sphere and in every domain with utmost perfection with an aim of acheiving excellence through cordination of ideas. Its not for nothing that they say, "once a Hamrockian, always a Hamrockian.."
